Sanny's Half-Baked Chocolate Muffins

These are definitely my favourite muffins. I think they were also the first ones I've ever made. As a child, I used to visit my granny every other weekend, and we would bake together. Needless to say that my granny's cakes are the BEST. No, really - there simply cannot be another person on this planet whose baking skills match hers. Anyway, this was a recipe she'd found in a magazine or something and thought we should give it a try. It was a disaster. However, the dough tasted so great that I tried and tried again over the years, changing and adjusting until it was perfect. Which it is. It really is. Give it a try and dare to contradict me. Go on! ;)
